Sacred Mums – 1 Corinthians 7:14
We often neglect the subject of motherhood, but it is a relevant topic to all of us – at the very least, we were all born of a mother. It is also an incredibly important and significant role within the church, and should be viewed as such. It is means whereby Jesus can be taken into the home and the family, even if the mum is the only Christian in that place (which is mainly who the apostle Paul is addressing in this verse). Mums can bring godly influence.

Welcome Lunch

Welcome LunchIt can be a little daunting to arrive at a large church when you don’t know many people. We want to help people feel welcome and give them an opportunity to get to know some others and meet the leaders, too, so we have arranged a Welcome Lunch. This takes place after the Sunday morning meeting, either in the home of a church member or at a nearby local restaurant, both just a short walk from the Centtre. The Welcome Lunch is free of charge and concludes at about 3pm.

At this event, you will be able to meet Joel Virgo, our senior pastor, and his wife Kate, as well as a few other church leaders and other people who are new to CCK.
